Known for his obsessive attention to detail and relentless pursuit of performance, Ryan has created what may well be the world’s lightest S-Works SL8. Every choice—from component selection to weight optimization—reflects his exceptional skill and deep understanding of the riding experience.

At the heart of this record-breaking build are Brisk Velix-Evo37 wheels. Engineered for extreme lightness and precise handling, the front and rear wheels together weigh just around 890 grams, while still delivering outstanding stiffness and smooth rolling performance. The 37mm rim height accommodates a wide range of tires and supports tubeless setups, providing riders with optimal grip and control. Each Velix-Evo wheelset is hand-tensioned with meticulous precision, achieving the perfect balance of weight and durability—offering reliable support for every climb, sprint, and long-distance ride.

Other top-tier components on this build are equally impressive: Gelu saddles, THM handlebars, Darimo cranks, Sixwheel Time Master cassettes, and Gemini seatposts—all carefully selected to complement the Brisk wheels, combining lightness, stiffness, and speed into a seamless whole.
